This support article provides instruction how to update the Microsoft Authenticator app because the multi factor authentication needed to be reset
Please note that these instructions apply AFTER Cybertronics has notified you that your Microsoft 365 MFA (multifactor authentication) has been reset, and you can reconnect the Authenticator app again.
Solution:
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device.
- Select the company account you want to reset
- Tap the settings gear, and then tap Remove account
- Then, from another device (desktop, laptop, tablet, etc), sign into Microsoft 365 with your preferred web browser.
